Who We Are!

Intervention Helpline, Inc. is a non-profit, multi-service education and counseling agency that serves families, children and at-risk youth suffering from substance abuse. Intervention Helpline helps to open the door for treatment and recovery from drug and alcohol addictions.

We use educational materials, high-visibility community events, counseling, intervention meetings, and workshops on the nature of addiction to promote the message of “Hope, Help & Recovery.” Interventions are an important component to motivate the addicted Alaskan to seek treatment and help. Approximately 85% of the Alaskans we serve are uninsured; no one is ever turned away.

We are one of the few agencies to recognize the profound effect on families who face the experience of isolation, frustration, anger and hopelessness when confronted with an addicted loved one. Our post-intervention and post-treatment counseling programs restore and strengthen families in the recovery process.
